Talofa!
Well this week has been pretty good, we were able to teach some new people, which is something that has been a struggle for us(finding people).
Jessica is one of those people, she is Tiannas friend and she came to church with her this week and she really liked it. She is really cool, she has had a rough life, but she is looking for the gospel. Tianna told Jessica how much it helped her through her similar struggles and how it could bless her life. Golden :D.
Sakalia and Pulemau are new investigators... They have a lot of faith in Jesus Christ, they also have a lot of questions about what we believe.
We also met Erica this week. We were doing service over in Redlands and she was there. Alot of missionaries go in and volunteer at this place and so she has seen a lot of Sisters and one of the first things that she said that she knew about the Church is that we believe in being modest. We talked with her for a while and she is so awesome! She wants structure and the gospel for her family and so we are trying to set up an appointment with her.
As for the people that we are working with, they are doing pretty good. We were able to set a date for Erikas (different Erika) wedding and baptism for the 14th of Feb! We are really excited for that, It has been hard setting a date with them, just because they want to have everything ready, but they aren't sure if they will..but they keep saying next month... next month. So now we are set and are helping them get ready for the 14th.
We don't have a new date for Alex and Brandon yet, Alex has been sick, so we haven't been able to meet with them this week. We went over to their house this morning to do laundry and we had a good lesson with Maria, we talked with her about reading in the Book of Mormon and committed her to read every day. She said she will be baptized, just not yet. We had a really good talk with her and I know that she will come around, it will just take time.
Things are going pretty good. It is always a challenge, but it is good, and I love it!
I love you all!

Hello!
Well this week has definitely been interesting.
Monday our P-day was shorter by 3 hours because on Thursday we went to the temple! Which it was really cool to find out that Uncle Jim was going through for the first time that day! The temple was amazing! I just love the peace that comes there.
Wednesday we moved apartments, we moved in with Hermanas! they are both Samoan/Hawaiian. That was a crazy day, but I'm glad its over, moving is stressful, even as a missionary.
On Thursday we were able to visit a Sister in our ward who is really struggling. I just loved the visit. I loved seeing the change in her attitude and the peace that she had. Once she opened up to us and we were really able to see her concerns and help her, it was awesome. It was one of those moments that I knew I was where I was supposed to be.
Emo and Su are doing good right now, still loving the Book of Mormon and progressing pretty well.
Alex and Brandon told us that they aren't getting baptized on the date we had set in February.. they still want to get baptized, but don't feel like they are ready yet.
It was kind of a challenging week with other investigators too.
Some are doing great, some are really struggling. It is hard to know how to help them, especially those that feel like they aren't ready for baptism. They are ready, well at least we feel like they are. Maybe its just that, a test for us to recognize the Lords time. It is just hard. But hey, thats Missionary Work!
Thank you all for your support, I feel it, especially with weeks like this one, I know that your prayers are answered as well as mine. I am grateful for each of you! I love you all!
Love,
Sister Gardner
